Five rigs are focused on resource expansion and exploration around the New Beliveau gold deposit.
The latest highlights include 57.4m at 3g/t gold under the former Beliveau mine main dyke; 35m at 2.3g/t at near-surface expansion drilling to the east of New Beliveau; and 16.5m at 5.1g/t under the Highway Zone.
President and CEO David Palmer said drilling had established continuity in the mineralised zones and demonstrated the high-grade material continued as the company expanded the boundaries of the deposits.
The company has announced a series of positive drilling results this year and is increasing its landholding in Val-d'Or.
The New Beliveau deposit, including the Highway and North Zones, contains an inferred resource of 770,000 ounces.
Shares in the company closed up more than 4% yesterday to C$1.52, capitalising the company around $140 million.
