China's copper smelters have suffered from the country's ban on Aussie copper concentrate imports

Since news of the ban surfaced earlier this month, the price of copper has risen by US11 cents to $3.16 a pound, a rise of 3.6% in 10-days, and a move very much in favour of the miners, not the smelters....
