Antofagasta looks to extend Pelambres life

With its water issues almost behind it, Antofagasta plc is looking forward to a second semester of full production at its copper operations in Chile and preparing a project to extend the life of its Los Pelambres flagship mine, chief executive Ivan Arriagada told Mining Journal at the company’s head office in Santiago, Chile.
