New Chinese regulations bite Silvercorp's production

Canada-headquartered China-focused Silvercorp's production at its Gaocheng, or GC, mine was impacted in the firm's July-September Q2 results as the company worked to comply with new safety regulations.

From Q1 to Q2, Silvercorp’s respective production volumes of silver, lead, and zinc fell from 164,000oz to 141,000oz, 2.37 million lbs to 1.78 million lbs, and 5 million lbs to 4.01 million lbs.
