KCA's El Tambor to stop mining

The supreme court of justice in Guatemala has suspended mining at Kappes Cassiday & Associates’ El Tambor gold and silver operation ruling the exploitation authorisation given to the private US miner violated the rights of local inhabitants, according to local press reports.
