The company reported 327m at 0.31% copper, 0.35g/t gold and 1.94g/t silver from 72m, in the first assay from drilling at the zone.
"The size and grade of the Williams zone discovery are remarkable," exploration vice president Chris Paul said.
"Broad intervals of intense potassic alteration with bornite and digenite indicate the presence of a large alkali copper-gold porphyry system at surface."
He said the company was excited to continue testing the system along strike and at depth. Further assays are pending.
The company had about C$3 million (US$2.3 million) in cash according to a June presentation.
Golden Ridge has an option to earn 100% interest in Hank from Barrick Gold by completing $1.7 million (US$1.3 million) of exploration work by the end of the year.
Golden Ridge shares shot up 44.4% or C10c to 32.5c yesterday, the highest point this year, capitalising it at $23.9 million.
