Graphite One gets $37.5M DoD grant

US graphite explorer Graphite One has been awarded a Department of Defense (DoD) Technology Investment Agreement grant of US$37.5 million to accelerate work towards a feasibility study for its Graphite Creek deposit near Nome in Alaska, US. The funding will be used to modernise and expand domestic production capacity and supply of graphite battery anodes for use in the lithium-ion batteries of electric vehicles and alternative energy batteries.
