European lithium juniors buff up their green credentials

Countries around the world are facing up to the rapid action required to meet their carbon reduction commitments. And a key piece of their decarbonisation plans is vehicle electrification, pushing battery metals ever more into the spotlight. Of those metals, the shortage of lithium is perhaps the most acute, with demand forecast to rise by at least 4,000% by 2040 in order to meet the Paris climate targets.
