Election results boost Macri in Argentina

A strong performance by the Cambiemos party of incumbent president Mauricio Macri at the mid-term elections this past weekend has seen off the threat of former president Cristina Kirchner being a significant opposition force to the government, allowing president Macri to continue his programme of economic reforms and development.
