The above-mentioned drill hole was the thickest continuous mineralisation in the Lower Footwall Zone (LFZ) discovered on the property to date, president and CEO Norman Williams said.

The directional drill hole turned off the parent hole at 890m and went to 1686m, also intercepting 35.8m at 2.59% copper and 27m at 1.98% copper.

"We believe we have clearly demonstrated that the LFZ mineralization does indeed continue beyond our defined mineral reserves and increases in grade and thickness with depth," Williams said.

Rambler has fully-funded Phase II expansion underway at Ming to increase the 650 metric tonnes per day operation to 1,250mtpd, with a view to further expand in Phase III to 2,000mtpd.

Ming produced 1,004t of saleable copper and 930 ounces of gold in the September quarter at average head grades in line with guidance of 1.38% copper and 0.66g/t gold.

Rambler shares rose 4% yesterday in Toronto to C13c, capitalising the company around $70 million.
