Osisko is looking to update the existing 1.6 million ounce grading 8g/t indicated and inferred resource at Windfall Lake, and all signs over the past year point towards a sizeable upgrade.

The latest drill results came from the Lynx deposit, which is adjacent to the Windfall deposit, with a number of highlights to choose from the 90 intercepts.

Of note was a 5m interval grading 140g/t from 541m depth, a 2.4m intercept averaging 210g/t from 890.1m, a 7.7m hit at 28.3g/t from 971.3m and a 2m interval at a grade of 83g/t from 264m.

The latest drilling has extended the main Lynx Corridor, up-plunge, 250m southwest from the last drill intercept for a total current strike length over 1.55km. Importantly, this still remains open.

Osisko also noted that Lynx HW is showing good continuity and grades towards the northeast, while Lynx 4 has been extended 75m to the northeast for a total current strike length of 1,350m.

The first resource update is expected to come out early this year and will be based on just 400,000m of drilling. This is likely to be followed up by another later in 2018.
