The company said two holes are coring and a third hole will be started soon on the 10,000m second-phase of drilling after a successful 6,000m spring programme.

The summer drilling will focus on following up on the previous success at the Umwelt "vault" and the Llama extension targets, as well as further testing of the Goose main extension target, Nuvuyak.

Sabina is also carrying out simultaneous dedicated field exploration programmes, including regional and detailed geologic mapping, geochemistry, and geophysics.

CEO Bruce McLeod said the company was aiming to discover and expand zones of high-grade mineralisation at the Llama and Umwelt underground resource areas.

"We have demonstrated that the gold structures at the Goose property have significant strike length with potential for considerable extension and we have also demonstrated that high-grade zones within these gold structures are not uncommon," he said.
