The company already has a mineral resource estimate of just over 400,000 ounces of gold for the BAM East and BAM West deposits on the Ontario site, and is using its 12,000m summer drill campaign to partly look in the 900m gap in between.

Drilling so far at 100m intervals, amounting to 7,100m split between RC and diamond rigs, has delivered 6.8m at 1.88g/t, 10m at 2.03g/t and 12m at 1.12g/t.

The company also reported visible gold and one intercept of 1m at 16.15g/t.

Previous results from the summer programme include 41.27m at 1.1g/t.

Landore CEO Bill Humphries said the results could be important for the project's upcoming preliminary economic assessment, which will follow an MRE update.

"The success of the current drilling programme extends the mineralisation of the BAM Gold Deposits along strike having the potential of significantly enlarging the size of the preliminary open pit," he said.

CUBE Consulting is doing the MRE and Landore has hired WSP to design the pit.
