Dolly Varden reported Thursday hole DV18-083 had intersected 15.5m, or 7.75m true thickness, grading 161.4g/t silver, 0.25% lead and 0.2% zinc, for a silver-equivalent value of 183.7g/t. The hole reflected mineralisation found in the Bonus Zone, north-east of the Moose-Lamb fault, which is north of the Torbrit mine. Within the intercept is 4.65m, or 2.33m estimated true thickness, of 437g/t silver, 0.16% lead and 0.16% zinc, which is equal to 363g/t Ag-eq.

Drilling in hole DV18-086 at the Torbit North target revealed 8.32m, or 8.07m true thickness, grading 248.4g/t silver, 0.15% lead and 0.1% zinc, for a Ag-eq value of 261g/t. Within this intercept Dolly Varden found 2m (1.94m true width) grading 559.5g/t silver, 0.06% lead and 0.1% zinc, for a Ag-eq grade of 567.7g/t.

President and CEO Gary Cope was delighted by the results, stating the company's exploration initiatives were continuing to yield new targets for follow up. More results are expected and the 2018 data will be incorporated in a mineral resource update scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2019.

The 2018 drilling programme is designed to focus on resource delineation and verification, particularly in the areas of the new discoveries from the 2017 exploration season. These include Torbrit North, Torbrit East and Moose-Lamb targets, as well as areas around the Torbrit and the Dolly Varden deposits.
