Integra Resources sees 'blue-sky potential' at DeLamar in Idaho

Recent drilling had confirmed a new discovery at Henrietta, 500m west of the current inferred resource boundary, with mineralisation starting within 100m of surface, the company said.

Highlighted drill results included 1,080 grams/tonne (g/t) silver and 0.28g/t gold over 4.75m, for 13g/t gold equivalent, in IDM18_066. This interval was within a larger intercept of 3.33g/t gold-equivalent over 30.48m. Integra said the find was a validation of theories postulated by renowned low-sulphidation epithermal geology experts Dr Richard Sillitoe and Dr Jeffrey Hedenquist, after recent site visits.

"This new high-grade discovery at Henrietta can be linked to a greatly enhanced understanding of geological controls for the large DeLamar project low-sulphidation epithermal system that has historically produced over 1.6Moz of gold and over 100Moz of silver," CEO George Salamis said.

"This discovery is situated adjacent to the existing resource in a new area and further supports our thesis that modern exploration techniques and an entirely new understanding of geological controls can add significant value in a historically producing gold-silver district such as DeLamar."

Salamis added the discovery supported the company's view that "persistent blue-sky" exploration outside of the existing gold-silver inferred resource would ultimately grow the resource base at DeLamar.
