"We have made a new gold discovery through the drill bit and encountered great initial grades in the highly oxidized zones near surface," president and CEO Jonathan Buick said of Idaho's first exploration programme at Baner.
The company, formerly GoldTrain Resources, listed on the CSE in September after a three-cornered amalgamation.
It said it had raised US$2.95 million at 20c as part of its pre-reverse takeover financing.
Idaho expanded its Baner project in October with the acquisition of the 422ha Sally claims in exchange for 1 million shares, and staked a further 204 claims.
Buick said the geological team was reviewing information to plan the 2019 drill programme.
The company has also staked 113 claims comprising the Champagne property in Butte County and last month completed its acquisition of four cobalt properties in the Idaho Cobalt Belt.
Its shares last traded at C13c to capitalise it at $4.6 million.
