This hole also included a sub-interval of 0.50m grading 3,194.51g/t gold-equivalent and stripping that out still left a robust intercept of 19.4m grading 9g/t. BMZ1's vertical extent now totals more than 400m. "The drill intercepts reported today remind us that the Buriticá system is far from defined and will continue to grow well into the future," said CEO Ari Sussman in a statement.

Continental plans to drill up to 73,500m in 2019, of which some 18,500m is exploration-led infill drilling primarily targeting the BMZ.

Buriticá hosts a global mineral resource inventory of more than 12 million gold-equivalent ounces grading more than 10g/t.
