The miner, which produced around 90,000 ounces of gold in 2018, said it would now put the data from 20,000m of RC and diamond drilling into the upcoming reserve update and then the mine plan.
Standout sections included 9.39g/t over 18m, at a depth of 156m, and 29.74g/t over 4.3m, at a depth of 250m.
Hummingbird's chief geologist Murray Paterson said his team was also still on the hunt for greenfield ounces.
"Our exploration team is reviewing the Gonka drilling data and is planning ahead for the coming 2019 drilling programme, which will target the down dip extensions to Gonka to expand the resource and reserves," he said.
"A thorough review of the database to identify new greenfield targets is also underway and this is expected to yield high priority targets to drill test outside the current seven deposits that have resources associated with them."
The miner is currently putting in a second ball mill at Yanfolila, which will up throughput from 1 million tonnes per annum to 1.24Mtpa and be done in the September quarter.
