Göran Färm is Beowulf's new non-executive chairman

Although limited in mining experience, Färm has industrial policy and communications experience through numerous prominent positions.

These positions include head of Swedish trade union Confederation's economic policy and investigation unit and deputy mayor of Norrköping, as well as head of the city's business issues. He served two separate terms as an elected member of European parliament and was a MEP of the committee of industry, research and energy. 

He was also previously director of information at Riksbyggen and was elected chairman of public development bank Kommuninvest in 2015.
