Todd River Resources has appointed its first CEO since its IPO in April

He will take over executive responsibilities from technical director Paul Burton, who will remain technical director and focus on his primary role as managing director of TNG Limited (AU:TNG).

Dix is currently managing director of Consolidated Zinc (AU:CZL) where he has built a resource base and completed scoping studies.

He has 23 years' geology experience in base metal, gold and uranium exploration and mining. He worked at LionOre Mining International until it was taken over by Norilsk Nickel (RU:GMKN) in 2007.

Todd River listed on the ASX earlier in April with a successful US$6 million initial public offering.
