ICBC Standard bank has bolstered its commodities team

On the base metals team it has hired Adam Brake as head of trading and Evan Richards as head of funding and inventory, while on commodities, Chris Williamson was hired as a specialist commodities structurer.

Brake will lead and develop the bank's base metals trading business. 

He spent the last 17 years at JPMorgan Chase leading the base options trading desk.

Richards will develop the inventory financing business, after coming across from Deutsche Bank. 

Williamson also spent 14 years at Deutsche Bank and will focus on ICBC Standard Bank's financing and physical capabilities.
