New Gold chooses new CFO

Robert Chausse is taking over from Paula Myson

Chausse has over 25 years' experience in international mining finance and will help in the company's repositioning as an intermediate producer.

He was most recently CFO of Richmont Mines until it was sold to Alamos Gold in November 2017.

Prior positions include CFO of Stornoway Diamonds, executive VP and CFO of AuRico Gold and VP of finance, operations and projects for Kinross Gold, as well as some senior positions at Barrick Gold earlier in his career.
