Kodal appoints Bougouni project manager

Steven Zaninovich will be in charge of developing the Bougouni lithium project in Mali

Steven Zaninovich will be in charge of developing the Bougouni lithium project in Mali

He has spent over 25 years in project management on all stages of mine development and most recently delivered Tawana Resources' Bald Hill lithium project in Western Australia where he was project director.

Zaninovich controls consultancy Zivvo, with which Kodal has a consultancy contract.

He will initially provide part-time project manager services and ramp up to full-time within three months, after which he will take on all development aspects on Bougouni from planning to commissioning.

Kodal is aiming to start production at Bougouni in 2020.
