The appointments included Knight Piésold to lead on geotechnical and hydrological engineering; Quadrante to consult on product transport and logistics; and S317 Consulting to develop a stakeholder management strategy, design a community engagement plan and source European Union funding.
Respected communications firm CV&A Consultores was also appointed, as was Noah's Rule as funding adviser.
These firms will join Primero Group, the lead manager on the FS; Nagrom and ALS, which both provide assay and metallurgical test work services provider; and VISA Consultores which is working on the environmental impact statement assessment.
Savannah CEO David Archer said the team offered a combination of technical capability with relevant sector and country experience, which would work under the leadership of Primero and Savannah's in-house team work to complete the study next year.
