St Barbara makes its trans-Atlantic move

St Barbara has followed Northern Star and become the latest Australian gold producer to acquire an operating North American gold mine, buying the expandable, low cost circa-100,000 ounce per annum opencut Moose River in Nova Scotia for US$592 million (A$854 million).
