The series, under official license by 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, consists of eight 1 ounce coins and a 2oz coin struck from 99.99% pure silver.
The first three were released at the World Money Fair in Berlin at the start of the month, featuring the popular cartoon family, a donut design and Homer with his catchphrase "D'oh!"
The remaining coins are set to feature Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and a Duff Beer can from the animated series, which is currently in the midst of its 30th season.
Group manager minted products Neil Vance said the limited edition release was the latest example of the Mint creating new markets for coins and Australian precious metals.
"It is themes and innovations like this which bring new life and conversations to the world of traditional bullion coins and modern investment options," he said.
The three initial coins range in price from A$59-$230 (US$43-$166).
