In the northern portion of Dark Star, two RC step-out holes intersected vertically-continuous zones of oxidised gold mineralisation with highlights including 77.7m grading 0.9 grams a tonne of gold.
The 2018 Dark Star development programme revealed a robust, vertically and laterally-extensive oxide gold system on the north end of the deposit that transitions at depth into higher-grade sulphide gold mineralisation.
The initial 2019 drilling programme at Dark Star is 75% complete and is designed to infill the remaining gold resource on 30m centres for conversion to measured and indicated resource categories. It will also test for mineralisation extensions that will be followed up with another drilling programme later in the year.
The Pinion deposit has an indicated resource estimate of 31.61 million tonnes grading 0.62g/t for 630,300oz, and an inferred 61.08Mt grading 0.55g/t for 1.1Moz.
Dark Star, 2.1km east of Pinion, has an indicated resource of 15.38Mt grading 0.54g/t for 265,100oz and an inferred resource of 17.05Mt grading 1.31g/t for 715,800oz. The North Bullion deposit, 7km north of Pinion, has an indicated resource of 2.92Mt grading 0.96g/t for 90,100oz and an inferred resource of 10.97Mt grading 2.28g/t for 805,800oz.
