Alison Baker has meanwhile resigned from Centamin's board.
The company said Farrow and Cloete brought extensive experience and skills to its expanded 10-member board. Geoscientist Farrow, the co-founder of Canadian gold producer TMAC, has more than 25 years of mining industry experience. Before TMAC, from 2003 to 2011, she was with KGHM International (formerly Quadra FNX Mining Ltd and FNX Mining Inc), where she held multiple senior executive roles.
She is also a director of Franco-Nevada Corporation and Exiro Minerals Corp.
Cloete worked as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa until 2005. She has been with Ivanhoe since 2006, when she became its group financial controller, then was made CFO in 2009.
