The Toronto-based company said Wednesday operations at the mine had resumed, following its disclosure the day prior that there were no interruptions to operations.
The Atotonilco ejido agreed to lift the blockade pending a vote on November 11 to ratify the agreement.
The ejido allege Argonaut currently pays the Atotonilco ejido 13,800 pesos per hectare to use their land, but under separate agreements with other ejidos in the area the company pays 17,000 pesos per hectare, a 19% difference.
"Argonaut reaffirms its commitment to treat all local ejidos fairly and work with its local communities in an open and transparent manner for the benefit of all stakeholders," the company said.
