"As of 24 March 2020, Centamin has no cases of COVID-19 amongst its workforce and has experienced no material disruption to operations, supply chain or gold shipments," said the miner.
Centamin said early action was taken at Sukari, including a ban on non-essential travel, workforce education and the establishment of checkpoints at Marsa Alam airport - where workers fly into - as well as at the community centre and mine gate.
Egypt has closed its borders to civilian travel until April 15, but borders remain open to goods and supplies.
"To date, we have experienced no supply disruptions and have sufficient internationally sourced critical supplies stockpiled for the next quarter," Centamin said in a statement.
While Centamin's operations have not been disrupted, the miner has postponed publication of its full year 2019 results "for a minimum of two weeks", following the request issued on March 21 by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority.
"As soon as we are advised by the FCA on updated timing, the company will announce the date for the publication of its 2019 results," said Centamin.
