Alamos Gold to start Island Gold expansion to 2,000tpd

Alamos Gold has announced the phase three expansion of its Island Gold operation in Ontario, Canada, to 2,000 tonnes per day, which is expected to increase output 72% to 236,000 ounces a year from 2025 while reducing all-in sustaining costs 30% to US$534/oz.
