The results included 3.58 grams per tonne of gold over 2m in trench 1, 5.81g/t gold over 4m in trench 2, 3.14g/t gold over 4m in trench 3, 5.66g/t gold over 1m and 0.92g/t gold over 7m in trench 4, and 0.88g/t gold over 2m in trench 5.

The company had been undergoing a trenching programme, which consisted of a surface programme of six hand dug 1m-deep trenches, at the site. The programme confirmed significant gold mineralisation over more than 1km of strike length, which included widths of up to 7m.

Stellar's VP of exploration and COO, Maurice Giroux, said the third structure, which has been designated as Zone C, is located to the east of Zone B and shows similar mineralogy, gold grades and structure width to that which had been found previously at the site.

"This important new structure remains to the east and at depth," he said. "I am delighted to see that the potential of the Tichka project is blossoming with the discovery of another new structure within the Tichka Est permits."

The Tichka Est project is comprised of seven permits covering 82sq km in the High Atlas Mountain region of Morocco. The site is approximately 80km south-southwest of the country's capital, Marrakech.

On February 18, Stellar AfricaGold traded on the TSX at C$0.045/share. Its shares remained steady this year, despite a slight dip at the start of the month.
