Seaberg spent more than 12 years with Newmont.
"Since September, 2021, he has been CFO of Condor Gold plc. From July 2019 to June 2021, he was the Senior Vice President and CFO of Calibre Mining. Prior to Calibre, he was the Executive Chairman of Paramount Gold Nevada Corp," NV said.
"He was previously Senior Vice President of Strategic Relations at Klondex Mines Ltd. In this role he was responsible for global investor relations and corporate development initiatives as an acting member of the senior executive team," the company added.
Seaberg has also been appointed to the company's board of directors. Watson will resume the role of Chairman.
NV also said that it has granted 3.1 million stock options to directors and officers of the company. Each option can be used to purchase a share in the company at C$0.10 (US$0.08) for five years.
NV's share price rose 6% day on day to C$0.085 on June 15. The company has a market capitalization of C$6.79 million.
