Stalled Indonesian deal bad sign for emerging nations kicking coal

The first major deadline for the US$20 billion climate deal between wealthy nations and Indonesia has been missed, with the US-co-led International Partners Group (IPG) and leaders of the emerging Southeast Asian country rescheduling the launch of the initial investment plan from August 16 to later this year.
