Asiamet to double Beutong stake

Asiamet Resources (LN:ARS) aims to raise up to £7.2 million (US$10 million) through a share placement to increase its ownership in the Beutong copper project in Indonesia and accelerate expansion drilling programmes at its KSK properties.

The company said it would place up to 65.4 million at £0.11 per share, representing around 7.1% of Asiamet's current capital. The shares will become effective and start trading on AIM on March 20....
