Drilling returned 7.62m grading 24.2 grams per tonne gold and 655g/t silver including 1.77m grading 98g/t gold and 2,782g/t silver, similar to results from work in 2019. The 2020 drill programme has identified two parallel mineralised structures 150m apart with strike lengths of over 500m.
"These drill results further confirm the presence of a high-grade, steeply dipping mineralised structure in the location of the 2019 drill programme," said Integra Resources president and CEO George Salamis.
"The company also discovered a high-grade mineralised zone 400m to the north … [with] a strike extent of over 500m and is largely untested."
In 2021, Integra plans to complete an induced polarization survey at War Eagle, as well as further drill testing adjacent to areas where high-grade was intersected in the 2019 and 2020 drill programmes. The 2021 drilling will focus on better defining controlling structures in the underlying granite and defining expected high-grade shoots underlying "the diffuse cloud of mineralisation" in overlying volcanics.
Shares in Integra Resources are trading at C$4.30, valuing the company at $232 million.
