Ford halts work on US$3.5 billion EV battery plant in Michigan

Ford announced on Monday it will halt construction of its electric vehicle (EV) battery factory in Marshall, Michigan. The announcement comes amid contract negotiations with the striking union United Auto Workers (UAW).
