The company is developing the BKZ polymetallic project in Indonesia's Kalimantan province.

It has hired Zsa Zsa Yusharyahya to make sure "engagement effectively meets stakeholder expectations within Indonesia".

Yusharyahya was an anchor with Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia and then director of operations for Metro TV, before moving into PR with Bank Danamon in 2007 as head of public affairs.

Asiamet CEO Peter Bird said the company's public image was becoming more important as it moved towards production.

"As the company progresses from explorer to developer and producer the level of engagement required with all stakeholders is growing exponentially, particularly as it relates government, community and permitting," he said.
