WCA CEO resigns

Current CEO Banjamin Sporton will step down in September

He has been CEO of the organisation since June 2015, having joined the WCA in May 2012 and becoming deputy chief executive in May 2012 and acting chief executive in November 2014.

Once Sporton leaves in September, WCA has chosen its communications and strategy director Katie Warrick to become its interim CEO as it searched for a new permanent CEO.

WCA said Warrick was a long-standing leader within the WCA team and was highly regarded by its members and stakeholders.
