He has over 30 years' experience in the mining sector and is a senior external advisor to Environmental Resource Management.

Prior to this role, in which he also advises the chairman and CEO, he was an independent advisor to private equity and mining consultancy firms, and before this spent nine years at Rio in senior roles, including four years as copper group mining executive.

Greatland said Latcham would support the management team ensuring all key issues required to advance the Havieron project in to the next stage of development were covered.
