Parker will be responsible for the bank's global precious metals trading risk management and will use his 25 years of experience to provide strategic direction to the team, while reporting to head of precious metals Katarina Cvijovic.

He has joined the bank from RC Trading where he was a founding member of a proprietary trading desk specialising in metals and foreign exchange.

Parker was previously at Deutsche Bank for 18 years, where he worked his way up to global head of previous metals.
