Drawings and plans at existing mine assets are often out of date, but the increased use of 360-degree cameras and drones can overcome this challenge and provide closure professionals with an improved picture of the decommissioning and remediation work required.

Using this technology has the added benefit of increasing efficiency, allowing experts to review and plan remediation works without having to visit the site - increasingly important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
