Sponsored by BMO Capital Markets, Heidrick & Struggles and BCG, the biennial WIM100 seeks to highlight the incredible diversity of talent in mining and celebrates inspirational women and their stories across all roles and seniority.
The 2020 edition received a record 626 nominations from 60 countries around the world.
WIM UK said WIM100 women were trailblazers who advocated and empowered and persevered in the face of adversity.
WIM UK managing director Dr Stacy Hope said the WIM100 had been a labour of love since its first edition in 2013.
"Over the past nine years this initiative has grown in size, stature and prestige but the sentiment has always stayed the same - the WIM100 is a living history that galvanises the incredible impact women have made on the mining industry around the globe," she said.
"Over the next several months, we will have the pleasure of reading hundreds of nominations that will inspire us."
Everyone is welcome to nominate the inspirational women in mining they know by clicking here. Nominations close on June 10, 2022.
