New MD Peter Langworthy will drive Gateway's Western Australia gold strategy

He will replace Andrew Bray, who has resigned to focus on other projects but will remain with Gateway in a consultancy capacity to assist with capital markets, M&A and strategy work.

Langworthy is an experienced mining executive that has filled senior management roles with WMC Resources, PacMin Mining and Jubilee Mines, which was eventually acquired by Xstrata (then acquired by Glencore (LN:GLEN)).

Langworthy is currently a non-executive director of Capricorn Metals (AU:CMM) and Silver Mines (AU:SVL) and is non-executive chairman for Syndicated Metals (AU:SMD).
